Job Descriptions are the bedrock of the HR function. They are an essential document when hiring a new employee, completing a performance review, or responding to an ADA reasonable accommodations request. In this training, you will learn what key components are necessary in every job description, including primary responsibilities, essential tasks, and the behavioral and technical skills needed to do the job. ADAAA’s role in job description documentation will be reviewed, with special attention paid to the physical and mental requirements along with the environmental conditions that need to be included to meet their requirements. Also, the exempt/non-exempt classifications will be reviewed to assure your current job descriptions meet FLSA standards.
