Dreams, Lies & Wishes Poetry Workshop

Spokane Poet Laureate Mery Smith presents this accessible workshop for all, including those who have never written poetry before, experienced poets, and everyone in between. The theme of “Dreams, Lies and Wishes” is inspired by Kenneth Koch’s work from the 1970s and explores the fantastic and the imagined, the very real world and (maybe more importantly) the way we choose to remember it. Participants should bring the writing materials they prefer to use, such as a laptop or notebook.
