Spokane, WA | March 19, 2026 – Spokane County Library District (SCLD) is offering an array of library programs and workshops for every age in April. The following highlighted events bolster knowledge and offer enriching activities.
For All Ages
During the Asian American & Pacific Islander Cultural Festival for all ages, interact with exhibits created by local Asian American heritage groups and see a dynamic lineup of cultural performances, presented by the Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Coalition. Food vendors will also be at this event.
For Adults
An educator from ALTCEW shares how the WA Cares Fund program for long-term care works, what long-term care includes, how caregiving responsibilities impact families, who contributes to the fund, how exemptions work, and how to qualify for benefits during the WA Cares Fund Basics session.
During the online author talk On a Mission: The History of US Women Astronauts with Smithsonian Curator Emerita Valerie Neal, author Neal discusses her book On a Mission, which spans 45 years and 61 astronauts to share the epic journeys of women who made space for themselves in a male-dominated field.
For Small Businesses & Entrepreneurs
