The BookEnd, library opens at Spokane Valley Mall

May 10, 2017
Spokane, WA  – Spokane County Library District announces the opening of its newest library, The BookEnd, an oasis of calm in the bustling Spokane Valley Mall. A boutique library for mall goers, The BookEnd is a different take on the library.
The bookshelves are filled with popular and bestselling titles. DVDs of the latest movies line the wall. Comfy armchairs give visitors a place to rest. Our computers are ready for checking email, browsing the library’s catalogue, and using the resources our Digital Library, including Consumer Reports, hoopla, OverDrive, Zinio, and SelectReads. Kids can play in our castle and explore the books in our kids’ area.
In celebration, we’re holding an Open House for The BookEnd that is free and open to the public. We invite everyone to stop by to explore, meet our knowledgeable staff, and enjoy refreshments.
