This challenge is for everyone of every age and encourages people in Spokane County to read and listen to books. By tracking reading minutes, participants can help SCLD reach the community reading goal of 1 million minutes! Unearth a Story is a dinosaur-themed challenge inviting readers of all ages to explore new worlds and uncover hidden gems.

Library District seeks levy restoration for maintenance and operations
Spokane, WA | May 5, 2026 – Spokane County Library District (SCLD) is asking voters to consider a levy measure to fund daily operations and maintenance for the 10 SCLD libraries during the August 2026 primary election.
